DBH using 10-2 cable pulling sock

Pulling sock arrived very quickly thanks... have been using sock to pull new water main (25mm barrier pipe) through 60mm double wall ducting...it does this well (barrier pipe is slippery and shiny ) and was able to pull the 50 metre run with no problems ...The front loop aluminium retainers need to have the their front edges rounded of as the sharp edges could damage plastic ducting (in my opinion)..this take a few minutes with a file (my pipe run had numerous tight curves)..many thanks DH.

Great little hoist

I was looking for a hoist for a 120kg chandelier
This hoist is very easy to operate and has a very smooth winding action both up and down and copes with the load easily
The hoist feels like it’s definitely heavy duty and well engineered

Needing a replacement winch for a now discontinued one, I contacted Winchshop asking for a like for like. They identified a near identical winch and recommended it. Problem solved!
